Packaging and
palletizing operations usually begin with case erection and the
automatic feeding of empty cases. Roskam partners with Marq Corporation
and Durable packaging systems, among others, to allow the selection
of the case erector that represents the perfect fit for each
application. Case erectors can be provided for a wide range of
box sizes, and feed rates typically range from 14 - 22 cases
per minute, with rates varying depending on a number of factors.
Case erectors can be supplied as stand alone units, or integrated
into an automated packaging system.
Case sealers can accommodate random case sizes, as well as provide top and/or bottom sealing. Case sealers can also be used to aid in compressing box contents prior to sealing. Cases can be tape sealed or glued depending on customer requirements.
