Roskam designs and manufactures a complete pallet feed and positioning system. This system includes a pallet hopper capable of storing a variety of pallet types, sizes, and styles (including wooden, plastic, and nested pallets). The system features automatic pallet dispensing and slip-sheet placement (when required). A single pallet hopper can also serve multiple loading stations. The pallets are conveyed into the robotic work area and precisely aligned and positioned for loading. Upon completion of the loading process, the pallets are conveyed to a forklift unloading station or an automated stretch wrap station prior to being delivered to the pick-up area.

The palletizers come in a variety of configurations, and can be chain or roller driven depending on pallets to be used and product weight.

Touchscreen Controls:

Roskam’s copyrighted Pallet Wizard Technology Software is used on all robotic system touchscreens to provide order-entry-to-truck-distribution monitoring and control as well as wealth of other capabilities. HMI, trouble shooting and easily-performed pattern selection are made easy by the system. Operator systems equipped with optional scales can also provide finished pallet weights and piece counts.

Roskam’s uniquely-designed end effector (robot hand) positions 1, 2, 3 or 4 stacks at a time (depending on product size and on pattern selection) as well as pickup and placement of slip sheets. System can also provide stack inversion with the addition of a robot re-grip table when so desired.

Roskam Palletizer Capabilities:

Pattern programs are custom written by Roskam and entered into each system. They are then easily selected through Pallet Wizard Technology.

Products are handled from either one or two robot-feed, side-delivery stackers on a demand basis thereby allowing one robot to load two pallet lines simultaneously when positioned between them.

Palletizer systems are custom built to meet all requirements including two pallet hoppers when the simultaneous palletizing of two different sizes and/or types of pallet is required.

Pallets are automatically moved through the system from the pallet hopper, to the loading position, and ultimately to the end for forklift removal.
