Roskam offers a total line of custom conveyors. All design (mechanical, electrical plus PLC programming) is done in-house as is the manufacture, the complete assembly and test running of each system on our floor prior to shipment.
Ground Level Conveyors

Heavy-duty motors and gearboxes
Color-coded wires are used in the control panels and all wiring is marked with one-piece, slip-on wire markers for permanence.
Conveyors are pre-wired to terminal boxes for reduced installation time.
PLC programming with digital motor controls for accurate automatic press speed following.

Overhead Conveyors
Custom walk-under overhead systems, built to accomodate customers specific conveyor needs. Also available as Overhead Conveyor with Spirals. Turns product as it travels up through incline and/or decline sections (eliminating need for flow turns). The Roskam overhead conveyor line economically reclaims floor space to add an in-line trimmer, provide more work area or add a Roskam stacking system with robotic palletizer.
Features Include:
Trapped V-Guide, Wide Flat or Tape Belts sections are used depending on applicational needs.
Books are captured from the center out, evenly flattening them much like crusher rollers.
Belt joggers are used to align the stream.
Aluminum or steel belt pulleys are used throughout for long wear.
Digital automatic speed following of the press as well as digital scrap tracking.
Heavy-duty components used throughout for durability, including stainless steel metal top plates with UHMW guides to protect belting from wear and give a smooth-running surface.
Spiral turns incorporated into incline and/or decline sections turn product at the desired angle to accom- modate custom conveyor configurations.

90° Drop Turns
Patented 90 degree drop turns to change product orientation plus maintain or improve the stream. This conveyor, Model 750, is designed to change product orientation from a head-to-foot configuration to backbone leading.
A unique top-belt assembly and infeed section make it possible to handle light weight 4, 8, and higher pagination signatures at low and high speeds while maintaining or improving the shingle of the stream.
The new concept in design and use of vacuum belts virtually eliminates the mis-shingling and jam-ups of product as it passes through the conveyor system.
