One of Roskam robotic's greatest strengths lies in sophisticated yet easy to use system controls. Roskam systems feature PLC, PC, and robotic programs all seamlessly tied together to maximize communication and efficiency. PLC programming capabilities include Allen Bradley, Omron, Siemens, Modicon, as well as many others. This allows the automation solution offered by Roskam to fit each customers preference in controls. Robot programming is performed using Roskam's proprietary modular approach which allows the robot to respond dynamically to changing product or work order parameters. This modular approach to programming allows system enhancements to be added later without a total re-write of the robotic software. Each program also features automatic recovery sequences and many advances over the simple "pick and place" programming offered by many. Roskam systems also feature a centralized PC control that acts as the HMI (Human - machine interface) through a touch screen control panel. This PC co-ordinates the interaction of all the programmed components of the system. This allows seamless communication across all the programmable elements of the system, and even allows the system to access data on the plant network.
